Communicating and tracking the progress of requests

There are a number of key actions, which you can perform on the Empowered Wealth platform, which will kick-off a process that you will want to track the progress of. 

These include:
  • Submitting a new pension request e.g. to make a new contribution to your pension
  • Submitting a new support request e.g. when you're unsure how to do something on the platform
  • Pledging funds to an investment opportunity
  • Etc
These actions represent the start of a process, which you will want to track the progress of and communicate about.

We use workflows to facilitate all of this.

To illustrate how this works in practice, let's look at an example of a pension request.

If you navigate to one of your pensions and click on the "Submit and track pension requests" button, you will see a list of your outstanding requests.



If you want to track the progress of any on these requests, you can click on the "Track progress" button.

This will open the relevant workflow for you, so you can track the progress of your request.



From this page, you can:
  • See the details of your original request
  • Add new comments, whenever you want to ask questions or request updates
  • Review the full conversation history of this request, along with any new messages that come in
This makes for a far more transparent and efficient way of communicating and tracking the progress of your requests.

Whenever there is a new update on one of your requests, you will receive an email and an in-app notification (ref the notification bell in the top right hand corner).

You can review your outstanding and previous notifications, at any time, by clicking on the notification bell, in the top right-hand corner.



You can ask questions and / or request updates, at any time, by clicking on the "Add a comment here ..." button, typing your message and clicking the "Add comment" button.



Whenever you add a new comment, anyone that you tag (using the @ symbol) will receive an email, as well as an in-app notification.
